Quantum sensing is a way of measuring things using special techniques involving rules of quantum physics. It helps us detect very tiny changes in the signal with extreme precision.

Imagine a temperature sensor—it measures temperature in a normal way using a mercury thermometer or involving an electronic device. A quantum sensor, on the other hand, can detect temperature changes much more accurately, even at the tiniest levels, by using quantum properties like superposition (where things can exist in multiple states at once), entanglement (where particles are mysteriously connected no matter how far apart they are), etc.

This technology is used in fields like sensing, healthcare (for brain imaging), navigation (more precise GPS alternatives), detecting underground structures, etc. It’s like having superpowered measuring tools.
