Qmet Tech Foundation has been set up as a Section-8 company (not-for-profit) by IIT Bombay under the National Quantum Mission (NQM), being implemented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Under the Human Resource Development initiative, the Quantum Sensing and Metrology T-Hub (QSM T-Hub) is committed to bridging the existing gaps in the field of Quantum Technologies and Applications (QTA), with a focus on advancing quantum sensing, metrology, and related domains. Through a series of targeted initiatives, fellowships, and training programs, QSM T-Hub seeks to equip students, researchers, and professionals with the necessary skills to drive innovation, solve industry problems, and foster entrepreneurship in this rapidly evolving field.
Qmet PARIMANA (Program for Advanced Research in Imaging, Metrology, And Nano-scale Applications of Quantum Sensing) Fellowship is an initiative under the National Quantum Mission (NQM) with a focus on human resource development. Post-Doctoral Fellowships are primarily aimed at encouraging in-depth analysis and enriching knowledge in QTA, creating new scientific knowledge/ technology solutions, and solving problems of the industry. The fellowships will be supporting motivated young researchers in QTA and groom them as independent researchers. Qmet Tech invites innovative and rich in technology project proposals from the motivated research scholars for Qmet PARIMANA Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program 2026 who would like to work in the following areas:
