About the Program

Qmet PARIMANA (Program for Advanced Research in Imaging, Metrology, And Nano-scale Applications of Quantum Sensing) Fellowship is an initiative under the National Quantum Mission (NQM) with a focus on human resource development. Post-Doctoral Fellowships are primarily aimed at encouraging in-depth analysis and enriching knowledge in QTA, creating new scientific knowledge/ technology solutions, and solving problems of the industry. The fellowships will be supporting motivated young researchers in QTA and groom them as independent researchers. Qmet Tech invites innovative and rich in technology project proposals from the motivated research scholars for Qmet PARIMANA Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program 2025 who would like to work in the following areas:

Application Areas Technology Areas
Time keeping Atomic clocks (cesium, optical, ion clocks)
Gravity sensing Atom interferometers, quantum gravimeters
Navigation (GPS-free) Quantum gyroscopes, accelerometers
Biomedical imaging & diagnostics NV centers in diamond
Magnetic/electric field sensing Atomic sensors, squid-based sensors etc.
