This small footprint nanopositioner is ideal for low-temperature applications such as point contact spectroscopy and for coarse positioning in scanning probe microscopy. However, they can also be used at room temperature. These positioners come with the inductive encoders (optional) which provide the capability of precise positioning also with closed loop control. Knocked down DIY versions of nanopositioners for educational purpose are also available at discounted rates. All our designs are open-source and we share 3D drawings and circuit diagrams with our customers.
